Christmas Projects

So I was just heading for bed when I was struck by the thought that I hadn't posted anything today. Not wanting to ruin my record, I'm posting. I don't have much to share today, though, because I spent the entire day working on some Christmas projects. And I do mean almost the ENTIRE day. I took two breaks: one to run on the treadmill and one to go to GNC for sleeping pills for my kids. DON'T JUDGE. If your 3-year-old went to bed at 10 pm and got up at 5 am, you'd slip him a little something every now and then, too.

I've had some requests for pictures of my projects, but on the off chance that some of the recipients are reading, that will have to wait until after Christmas.

We reaped the benefits of Benadryl with our kids while we were on vacation and all sleeping in the same room for 8 days. K was snoring so badly Rich and I were in hysterics laughing and McG woke up to ask why she was so loud. Everyone slept better and their health improved once they received a good solid couple nights of sleep! Hope you are well!

No judgments here! Shoot, I've given my kids half a sominex when they refused to sleep. Also, flying back and forth from Russia to the states with a 16 hour time difference requires major intervention!

I will not put in print for the whole world to see what I have given my child to make her sleep. So, you get no judging from me!

I didn't know there was stuff you could give kids, but I'm interested to know. Sylvie is 3 1/2. She has always slept through the night until now. If she hears the tiniest little noise in the night, she's awake, standing on her bed and crying. Sometimes she does this twice a night and then wakes up super early the next morning. It's killing me. What do you give them? I really wanna' know.

Oh yeah, it's called Melatonin and you can get it at GNC. Get the cherry flavored chewable kind and they take it no problem! It really just gives them an extra dose of the chemical that induces sleep naturally in our systems.
