Did you think I forgot? Were you waiting all day to incorporate your new word into your vocabulary? So sorry. We've been suffering the after effects of an ice storm and today was the first day since Sunday that it was safe to drive on the streets. SO I GOT OUT OF THE HOUSE! It was liberating.
I chose today's word because of a conversation I had with Hunter yesterday. We were talking about the really smelly black and white animal. Hunter kept calling it a "stunk" which I found hilarious because without realizing it he was combining what it's called with what it does. So the word is:
Noisome (noy suhm) It's an adjective meaning stinking or putrid. The dead mouse trapped in the walls produced a noisome odor. Synonyms include disgusting, foul and malodorous.

Erin, I'm glad my posts were so riveting! I'll ask Bryan to open up the Remembering Matt blog. It doesn't have anything on it, it's just a place for people to buy Matt's CDs. If Maggie is needing some Matt stories, try the guestbook attached to his obituary. Go to www.eastvalleytribune.com then go to obituaries then view guestbooks and put in our last name to search and it will bring Matt's up. Some of the comments might make her more sad, but lots of them have really nice thoughts and stories.
Hey hon! Just wanted to say thank you - as it turns out I'll be taking the GRE in the spring too & I'm pretty much petrified.
I would say stunk is pretty clever! I know I am a little slow but I just found this recipe for Cornish Hens and thought I would share. I have not tried it but thought it sounded good. Copy and paste this link (it is a long one!) If that doesn't work, go to www.maceys.com and click on recipes and search for Bronzed Cornish Hens. Let me know if you try it.....
